Mary recently lost her mother, after which her stepmother sent her to live in a boarding school. There she moved into a room with two girls, Tori and Polly. All the children at the boarding school had some kind of family problems, which is why they got there. The new Mary began to notice that there was not only a strong friendship between Polly and Tori, but also something more. The girls have been in love with each other for a long time, but they are trying to hide it from everyone. There has long been passion between them, romantic walks and stormy nights. When Mary first began to guess about such a difficult love between the two girls, the whole school began to discuss this topic behind their backs.

Such rumors began to reach even Tori's younger sister, who could tell her parents everything. Tori realized all this in time, so she pushed her friend away from herself and told everyone that she was not a lesbian and it was Polly who molested her. To convince people of this, she even started having an affair with a local teenager. Polly loved Tori and she wanted to do everything to get her love back. Mary had to spend all this time watching the Shakespearean passions that were constantly taking place in her room. She felt very sorry for Polly, but there was nothing she could do to help her. My sister believed Tori, so she didn't tell her parents anything. However, her former life did not bring her the joy she had before. How the plot will unfold further, when one loves and the other does not, can be seen at the end.
